Hi, I'm Hayden.

My first ever race at 8 years old. That's a determined face!

When I was 7 I beat all the boys on my soccer team in a race after every practice. Since that moment I knew I wanted to run track, and I've loved it ever since. I joined a club team called the Phoenix Bobcats at 8 and haven't looked back.

I became team captain at 10, and I've been captain ever since. I've learned a lot about track & field from Coach Jones, but even more about life.
In high school, I won our team's Rookie of the Year award as a Freshman, and I won our MVP award as a Sophomore. I enjoy competing and working hard towards achieving my goals, which I set each season to challenge myself.

In school I've made the Honor Roll or Principal's List every quarter and I'm always focused on improving my studies. 

I'm excited about the prospect of continuing my education at a great institution of higher learning.
